I just got my cover art for The Twilight Deception. I’m very impressed. Cobblestone allows for you to request an artist (though no guarantee you’ll get it), so I went through their art staff portfolios and chose three whose work I felt would complement the style I wanted for the book.
All I have to say is: Wow.
I mean, I’ve liked the majority of Cobblestone’s covers (and the ones I haven’t have been more a matter of personal taste than anything else, IMO), but this well exceeded my expectations. The artist, Chris Griffin, captured the tone and atmosphere I was looking for, as well as portraying the characters as I visualised them. Which I totally hadn’t anticipated.
(If you want to see a larger pic of the cover art itself, clicky here. :))
In other news, I’m finished with the edits for Twilight, the final’s been sent off to Deanna, and I should hopefully have a release date soon. Yay! ![]()

Beautiful cover!! I’m looking forward to hearing more about it. I love many of the books I read of Cobblestone. And love reading new to me authors.

I love the burgundy colour of this one. I do like their purple ones but this one is more striking, classy, IMO.
Well done!
